How does the nomination process work?
Nominations are sent to the first level approver required for the specific award. If more than one level of approval is necessary, the nomination will be sent to the next level approver. As soon as all required approval is given, you will receive an e-mail informing you that your nomination has been approved. The nominee's direct supervisor is responsible for coordinating the award presentation. You can check the status of a nomination by logging into your account and viewing your nomination history.
How do I nominate someone for an award?

The system now allows you to enter a team nomination. You may add as many nominees as you like to your nomination. The approval process will follow the same approval path as an individual nomination.
How does the Nomination Wizard work?
Each question on the Nomination Wizard questionnaire has been assigned a specific weighted value. After you submit your completed answers, the Nomination Wizard uses the specified weights to determine which award level best reflects the nominee's accomplishment.
How does the nomination form work?
The nomination form allows required approvers to see who has submitted the nomination, which employee is being nominated, and a description of their specific achievement. The nomination form also contains a personal thank you note from the nominator to the nominee.
When does an approver approve a nominee?
A nomination should be approved when the approver agrees that an accomplishment reflects Quest Diagnostics' business strategies and deserves recognition. The approver will receive an e-mail giving them the to option to approve or decline the nomination. This e-mail will also contain a link to the nomination page.

How do I identify my approver?
Once you have chosen a nominee, the system will automatically populate the correct approver for the nomination.
What does the presenter do with the access code?
The presenter should give the access code to the award recipient after acknowledging the accomplishment in a group presentation. The recipient will use the access code to view and select their award.
How does the nominator know if the nomination is approved?
The nominator will receive an e-mail message when the nomination is given final approval. The nominator will also be notified if the nomination has been declined for any reason. You can check the status of a nomination by logging into your personal account and viewing your "Nomination History."
What should I do if the person I am trying to nominate is not in the system?
All Quest Diagnostics employees should be in the system. First, make sure that you are entering the nominee's full name and not a nickname. Also, check to see that you have spelled the name correctly, or try searching with fewer characters. If you are still unable to locate the employee in the system, contact the program administrator in your BU.
Can you adjust the award level without redoing the Nomination Wizard?
No. You must always use the Nomination Wizard to determine the appropriate award level. The Nomination Wizard is designed to ensure consistency and equality of recognition across the organization.
